A treasure trove of a hardware shop with many hard to find (easily) items, irrespective it isn't huge. Worth the walk or bus ride and more pleasant than Wickes or B&Q and you are more likely to find the smaller items - in fact for hardware, Standard carries far more extensive stock. Fairly priced too.
Some of the staff were rude and unhelpful. Others went that extra mile to help.

Fantastic shop, it looks small from the outside but it has everything you could possibly need, and more. Prices are often lower than the big DIY stores. The owner is very helpful
